Stereotypical Characters

I have done the Simpsons because I do not watch any drama's but i thought that the Simpsons sterotypes alot.

The T.V programm that I have chosen to do is the simpsons. My first character is:

Homer Simpson - This is because he stereotypes the AMERICAN man. I think this because he is chubby, not very clever and is lazy. These are the main stereo types that people associate with the american man. He can also relate to a middle aged man. This is because he has basically lost his hair and also put on weight as he has grown up. Also he has 3 children which he gets grief off all the time and also he is always stressed out by the children.


The Second character that i have chosen to do is:

Bart Simpson - This is because he stereotypes the typical young boy. I believe this because Bart is always getting into trouble, whether that be at school or at home. He always gets into mischief and the majority of the time he gets away with it. Marge Simpson (Bart's Mom) is very forgiving for Bart and his mom always sticks up for him, where as Homer Simpson (Bart's Dad) always tries to punish him. I don't think that he stereotypes any other catagory of people because I think he was made purely based on the typical young boy.
